ScreenTours guided tours have been specially prepared for you, a traveler eager for knowledge and experiences who wants to know and experience first-hand the reality of their destination, Amsterdam and the Netherlands. With an exceptional team, ScreenTours is fortunate to be able to offer you a unique, revealing and educational tour. The passion of our guides, together with their experience, will immerse you in the country from the first minute, showing you the triumphs and the darkest stages of its history. My name is Ana, creator of ScreenTours and your ambassador in the city of Amsterdam. The experience of a traveler, journalist and guide has taught me the importance of receiving history from various prisms in a city as complex as the Dutch capital. This city created the capitalist system in 1602, decriminalized homosexuality in 1811 and legalized prostitution in 2000. What better way to do it than on the ground, experiencing every corner like the authentic inhabitants of Amsterdam. ScreenTours will show you Amsterdam's past in order to contextualize its present. Historic Amsterdam

Welcome to the most comprehensive free tour of Amsterdam, where you'll experience the Dutch Golden Age and the darkest years of World War II . We also shouldn't forget the Social Revolution of the 1970s , which shaped the city's personality to this day.

We'll begin our tour at the foot of the Westerkerk, the largest Protestant church in Amsterdam. We'll walk past the Anne Frank House and the famous Jewish quarter of Jordaan, where We'll tell you about the Nazi Occupation and the Holocaust in the city. We'll explain the secrets of its Dancing Houses, the construction of the Canal Ring , and the importance of the Tulip throughout the country.

Walking through the heart of the 9 Streets , we'll head to Dam Square and its bustling surroundings. Meanwhile, we'll show you the Royal Palace and the National Monument where You will learn about the first hours after the Nazi Liberation and the foundations of the Dutch Monarchy during the Eighty Years' War.

Next we will visit the Beguinage , home to the first independent nurses of the Church during the 13th century.

We'll end our Free Tour at the Flower Market , next to the famous Rembrandt Square . But not before we'll tell you about the best things to do in the city, including gastronomy, museums, and more.
