Free tour of Icod de los Vinos (Tenerife)

From here, we will narrate the history of this town, which became an important center of Tenerife after the Castilian conquest.

Our first stop will be the church of San Agustín and the Town Hall . Nearby is the convent of San Francisco , today converted into the municipal library, and the Emeterio Gutiérrez Albelo House-Museum , a space dedicated to the life and work of this Canarian poet.

We will continue towards the Andrés de Lorenzo Cáceres square, located in front of the Matriz de San Marcos church, which houses valuable religious images. A few meters away is the Banana Museum , an incredible place to learn everything about this emblematic fruit of the Canary Islands.
