Nueva Orleans se fundó en 1718 en el lugar que hoy ocupa el famoso Barrio Francés. Comenzamos el recorrido en Jackson Square (si la plaza está cerrada, nos encontramos en la entrada de Decatur Street) y terminamos cerca del Mercado Francés. Sandy was amazing, professional, what a dry great sense of humor. Great historical information and good local recommendations of food spots etc. I booked this tour for my friend group on day 1 of my trip (I do GuruWalks everywhere I go). They loved it! It was a perfect introduction to the town, expanding on terrain, climate, history, culture, and all the context needed to really appreciate the town. Sandy made sure we weren’t hit by cars and finished the tour at an intersection of possibility. Thanks Sandy!

Really fun and useful orientation, recommend doing this tour with Sandy on your first days in town. This was a fun way to hear about the 300yr history of NOLA and the stories over the centuries, as well as get to see the French Quarter. Sandy was easy to find and sent us a message before the tour so we knew where to meet her, which I appreciate.
