New Orleans wurde 1718 an der Stelle des heutigen berühmten French Quarter gegründet. Wir beginnen die Tour am Jackson Square (falls der Platz geschlossen ist, treffen wir uns am Decatur Street Gate) und enden in der Nähe des French Market. Sie werden sogar das Ursulinenkloster, das älteste Gebäude der Stadt, besichtigen. Great historical information and good local recommendations of food spots etc. I booked this tour for my friend group on day 1 of my trip (I do GuruWalks everywhere I go). They loved it! It was a perfect introduction to the town, expanding on terrain, climate, history, culture, and all the context needed to really appreciate the town. This was a fun way to hear about the 300yr history of NOLA and the stories over the centuries, as well as get to see the French Quarter.
