Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Armas, Plaza del Fuerte, Plaza de la Victoria, and Plaza 25 de Mayo are some of the names that the Plaza de Mayo has received over the years, since the most important and momentous events in Argentine history took place here.
Historic buildings such as the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Casa Rosada surround the Plaza de Mayo.
The first subway line in South America, the Monument to General Manuel Belgrano and the Pyramid of Mothers in Plaza de Mayo are some of the attractions that we can find there, and with all of them we can learn about the history of the City of Buenos Aires and Argentina.
