Discover the greatest masterpieces at The Museum of Modern Art while exploring the evolution of modern art from the early 20th century to the present day.
The Museum of Modern Art in New York is one of the city's most renowned cultural institutions. Since opening in 1929, it has built one of the world's most influential collections of modern and contemporary art, featuring iconic works by artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol.
The museum's six floors showcase an extraordinary collection spanning from the late 19th century to today. During this guided visit, you'll navigate the galleries with ease while gaining a deeper understanding of the artworks, artistic movements and historical context behind the museum's most celebrated pieces—all in under two hours.
Our tour begins with masterpieces from Post-Impressionism, including Van Gogh's The Starry Night, before moving to Picasso's groundbreaking Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. From there, we'll trace the development of the major artistic movements of the 20th century, including Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art, through the works of some of their most influential artists.
Whenever available, we'll also visit selected temporary exhibitions to complement the permanent collection.
Whether you're an experienced art enthusiast or simply curious about modern art, this tour offers an engaging and accessible introduction to one of the world's finest museum collections.
To provide a more personal experience, tours are limited to a maximum of five participants.
Admission to the museum is not included. Current admission prices are approximately: Adults $30, Seniors $22, Visitors with disabilities $22 and Students $17. Children receive free admission. The museum also offers free admission for New York City students, and certain sightseeing passes, such as CityPASS, may include admission or discounts.
