La Paz Through Indigenous Eyes: Markets, Cable Cars & Hidden Stories

Discover La Paz through the eyes of its Indigenous people!

Join us for a different kind of city tour and discover La Paz from an Indigenous Aymara perspective. Rather than simply visiting the main sights, we will explore the city through its history, traditions, everyday life and the stories that have shaped it.

We will meet at Plaza Gastón Velazco and begin our walk toward Rodríguez Market, one of La Paz's traditional markets. Here, you will experience a part of everyday local life and discover the products, customs and traditions that are important to Paceños.

From there, we will continue to Plaza Sucre, home to the famous San Pedro Prison. We will learn about the fascinating history surrounding the prison and some of the stories and mysteries that have made it one of La Paz's most intriguing places.

Then comes one of the best ways to understand the geography and history of La Paz: the Mi Teleférico cable cars . We will ride the Blue and White Lines, enjoying spectacular views while learning how the city has expanded and transformed over time.

We will then visit Killi Killi Viewpoint, one of the best panoramic viewpoints in La Paz, where you can appreciate the extraordinary geography of the city and the surrounding mountains.

Finally, we will make our way to the beautiful and historic Jaén Street, where our tour will come to an end.
