Begin your adventure by descending to the base of the waterfall, where you’ll be greeted by the refreshing mist and the sound of cascading water. Walk along the stones to get closer to the waterfall, feeling the cool spray on your skin. As you make your way down, enjoy the lush vegetation that surrounds you, home to a variety of herbivores like impalas and gazelles. Keep an eye out for the many bird species that inhabit the area. Thompson Fall is also a maternity site for elephants, so you might even spot a newborn baby elephant.
