With over 15 years of experience, I am a licensed tour guide offering authentic and comprehensive walking tours throughout New York City. Raised in the Bronx and living in Harlem, I offer visitors a truly local perspective, showcasing the city's rich history, vibrant culture, and hidden gems. My passion for storytelling and adventure allows me to create experiences that go beyond the traditional tourist trail, ensuring each visitor leaves with a deeper connection to the city. I hold a degree in Travel and Tourism from LaGuardia College and have been guiding visitors since 2009. I began by offering free tours before turning my passion into a profession in 2019. I am fluent in Spanish and English, allowing me to cater to a wide variety of travelers and make my tours accessible and engaging for all. As one of the pioneers of guided tours in the Bronx and Harlem, I take pride in showcasing these historic neighborhoods with authenticity and enthusiasm. Whether exploring street art, historical landmarks, or the best places to eat, I strive to make every tour an unforgettable experience. My goal is to help visitors see New York through the eyes of a local, creating lasting memories while enjoying the energy and diversity of this incredible city.

Tour description

New York is full of hidden treasures that only a select few know about. With this tour, we want to offer you the chance to discover some of these secrets through the unique perspective of one of the city's most iconic and experienced guides. Are you in?

The adventure begins with our guide at Beacon Court where we will talk about the uniqueness of its buildings, we will stop by Magnolia Bakery so you can try their famous pudding and we will continue with a panoramic ride on the Roosevelt Island cable car (ticket $2.90, not included) , where we will cross the East River to reach Roosevelt Island and walk along its banks to learn more about the island and its surroundings while enjoying incredible views of the Manhattan skyline, perfect for taking unique photos of the city.

After enjoying the views of the island, we'll go from air to underground, taking the subway (using the same cable car ticket) back to Manhattan, where the second part of our adventure begins. We'll navigate the hidden 6½ Avenue, passing through streets lined with restaurants, parks, hidden fountains, and much more that will amaze you.

Finally, we will end the tour at Green Acres Park, very close to Grand Central Station and the United Nations.

If you're looking for a New York experience beyond the ordinary, this tour is for you. With a mix of unique transportation, fascinating history, and secret spots, you'll leave with a new perspective on Manhattan. Let's explore NYC like never before!
