Tour description

Free walking tour of downtown Salt Lake City. We'll meet you at the Brigham Young Monument at 15 ES Temple St, SLC, UT 84101 to begin our tour (free of charge).

During the tour we will learn about the establishment of Salt Lake City in this region of the Western USA, we will visit some notable buildings of the LDS Church such as the Salt Lake Temple, the tabernacle, the Conference Center, museums, the Delta Center which is the home of the NBA basketball team the Utah Jazz, the Union Pacific Railroad station, the Utah Capitol and other important points.

I'm passionate about sharing the cultural heritage of each city, its origins, development, key events, and unique character. My goal is to connect travelers with the essence of each place we visit. Many travelers still keep in touch with me, which proves that the experiences we share go beyond the trip and become lasting and unforgettable memories.

IMPORTANT: The entire tour is entirely on foot and covers the outdoor areas of the sites visited, meaning no additional fees are required. Many tours conclude with an organ recital, and some with a performance by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (formerly the Mormon Tabernacle Choir).

Step back in time at the Union Pacific Railroad Station, once the grand gateway that connected Salt Lake City to the rest of the U.S. This historic spot tells stories of steam engines, westward dreams, and the people who shaped America’s rail legacy. We’ll explore its role in immigration and commerce, and how it helped make Salt Lake a crossroads of culture. It’s not just a building—it’s a time machine with tracks.
