Discover the true soul of Old Dhaka on this FREE 4-hour walking tour, where history, culture, and local life come together in one unforgettable experience.

We will explore the iconic Ahsan Manzil, the beautiful Pink Palace on the Buriganga River, once home to the Nawabs of Dhaka. From there, we will visit Sadarghat, one of the busiest river ports in the world, where you can see real river life, boats, traders, and workers in action.

We will also explore the nearby ship servicing area, where traditional boat repair takes place. Next, we will visit Star Mosque, famous for its stunning mosaic design, and Armenian Church, a historic landmark of Dhaka’s Armenian community.

The tour continues through Shankhari Bazar, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Dhaka, known for its narrow lanes and artisan culture. We will also explore spice markets, wholesale streets, and hidden alleys full of local life. At the University of Dhaka campus, we will see Curzon Hall, a masterpiece of colonial architecture.

During the tour, I will share stories about Mughal and colonial history, river trade, religious harmony, and the hidden heritage of Old Dhaka. This is not just sightseeing—it is a deep cultural experience of real Dhaka life. At the end, I will also suggest the best local food spots.
