I take great pleasure in welcoming and engaging with my guests. Having grown up in London, I've spent decades exploring its streets and witnessing its transformation. The city's rich history and the stories it holds never cease to amaze me, and I'm always excited to share my knowledge with others.

Tour description

Discovering Notting Hill: A Walk Through London’s Most Iconic Neighbourhood

Join me on a guided walk through one of London’s most vibrant and storied neighbourhoods. I’ve been visiting Notting Hill since the early 1990s, and over the years I’ve grown to deeply appreciate its energy, diversity, and charm. From iconic film locations, to hidden corners full of character, this area never stops evolving—while still holding onto what makes it so special.

We’ll weave our way through the world-famous Portobello Road Market, soaking in the colourful atmosphere, striking architecture, and stories behind one of London’s most beloved destinations. Along the way, you’ll hear about the Notting Hill Carnival, famous and infamous residents, from rock stars to rebels, authors to aristocrats.

The Portobello Road Market runs every day, with different sections open throughout the week, but Fridays and Saturdays are when the full market really comes alive. From antiques and vintage clothes to fresh produce and global street food, there's something for everyone. Whether you're joining a morning or afternoon walk, you’ll have time to explore the stalls, soak in the atmosphere, and maybe even spot a hidden gem.

After the tour, you’ll have plenty of options nearby—from quick bites to sit-down restaurants—perfect for continuing your Notting Hill experience.
