Tour description

Instead, Kirkland became known for wool mining and ship building before developing into one of the regions most beautiful little towns. Learn the colorful history of Kirkland, perhaps barely recognizable today. This tour will point out how the city we know today was actually in a different location. Harnessing nature defined how Seattle and especially Kirkland could become viable cities. On the tour we will see fabulous places to to eat, drink, shop and and even take a dip (not included in the tour, but could could bring your swimsuit and jump into the lake after the tour!) Learn what happened in this quaint little town a century ago and how it transformed into one of the regions most idyllic spots. The tour has two stops for something to eat and drink.
