1. Grand Place
This square is the place for major events and markets, surrounded by elegant historic buildings and flamenco style.
2. Old Stock Market (Vieille Bourse)
Enter its interior courtyard to admire the architectural details. It's one of the city's most iconic monuments.
3. Rue Esquermoise – Meert Patisserie
Walk up Rue Esquermoise, with its elegant shops and colorful facades. On the corner, you'll find Lille's most famous pastry shop, known for its waffles filled with Madagascar vanilla.
4. Notre-Dame-de-la-Treille Cathedral
Arrive at Gilleson Square and visit this neo-Gothic cathedral with a striking modern marble façade, completed in 1999. The contrast between the old and the new is unique.
5. Place aux Oignons
Continue to this charming little square, typical of Vieux-Lille, with its brick houses and intimate atmosphere. It's one of the most photogenic spots in the old town.
6. Rue de la Monnaie – Hospice Comtesse
Walk down Calle de la Moneda, one of the oldest streets in the city. Here you'll find the Hospice Comtesse, a former 13th-century hospital converted into a museum. This street is lined with houses with Flemish facades and great historical value.

We return to the Grand Place, passing through Rue du Curé Saint-Étienne and Place Rihour. Along the way, you'll see the Opera House and the bell tower of the Chamber of Commerce, which dominate the Place du Théâtre.
