This fascinating walking tour will take you from the majestic Grand Bazaar to the aromatic Egyptian Bazaar, passing through the lesser-known hans—Ottoman-era inns that tell the untold stories of the city's vibrant past.

The Fahri Bey Inn (also known as Fahri Bey Han) is a historic building located in the heart of Istanbul. It dates back to the Ottoman era and is one of the many inns (or "hans") that were once used by traders and travelers.
The Fahri Bey Inn offers a wonderful view of the Grand Bazaar.

The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets. Spanning over 30,000 square meters, it features more than 4,000 shops selling everything from jewelry to spices. Established in the 15th century, it’s a vibrant, historic place where visitors can shop, haggle, and experience Turkish culture.

Sarraf Han
The Sarraf Inn (or Sarraf Han) is another historic inn in Istanbul, often noted for its charming, traditional Ottoman architecture. Like other hans, it was used by merchants and traders, offering both accommodation and space for storing goods.
