Join me on a unique half-day experience that combines the comfort of a scenic train ride with the charm of a guided walking tour through one of Bavaria’s most beautiful and historic cities — Augsburg.
We will depart together from Munich Hauptbahnhof aboard the Arverio train(Free rountrip ticket), enjoying a relaxing and picturesque ride (around 50 minutes) to Augsburg, one of Germany’s oldest cities, rich in Renaissance architecture, merchant history, and artistic legacy.
Once in Augsburg, we’ll begin a 2-hour guided walking tour, covering highlights such as:
🏛️ Town Hall & Golden Hall (outside) – one of the most impressive Renaissance buildings north of the Alps
🗼 Perlach Tower – historic watchtower beside the Town Hall with panoramic views
🪨 Stone Man – mysterious medieval statue with a local legend
🧭 Fugger and Welser Adventure Museum (outside) – stories of Augsburg’s powerful merchant dynasties
🌿 Court Garden – peaceful Baroque garden behind the bishop's palace

🎶 Leopold Mozart House – birthplace of Mozart’s father
🎭 Brecht House – childhood home of the famous playwright Bertolt Brecht

After the walking tour, you are free to explore the city on your own or head back to Munich — trains run regularly.
