Discover Bragança at a slow pace!!, the hidden gem of northeastern Portugal, it will surprise you!

Dear traveler, I hope you are enjoying designing your trip. Thank you in advance for joining my tour, you will certainly not regret strolling with me through the wonderful and peaceful streets of Bragança, the capital of Tras os Montes.
We will start the tour at Praça da Sé, the main square of the city where almost all the locals gather. Next, we will visit the old Cathedral with its wonderful cloister of the former convent of Sta Clara. We then head down to the Church of Mercy with its beautiful altarpiece. Following that, we will have a gastronomic visit to the Chestnut Museum where, if you wish, you can taste the famous "Brigantino" pastry to gather strength for the lovely climb up to the castle gates. After explaining a bit of its history, we will enter the Citadel, which will undoubtedly surprise you as it is a small village within the castle walls, ending this walk at the Main Square of the original 13th-century castle.
