Guided tour: the masterpieces of the Rijksmuseum
The tour lasts 1 hour
Available in English
Description
The Rijksmuseum is the largest museum in Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
On this tour, I'll use my art history expertise to take you on a journey through 17th-century Dutch art. During this 60-minute tour, I'll tell you about the famous Gallery of Honor, the powerful scenes of Dutch naval battles, and the evocative library designed by Cuypers. The pace is designed to offer an engaging overview of the most interesting works and to give you a thorough understanding of what the museum has to offer: from Rembrandt to Frans Hals, including some of the 8,000 works on display.
Be sure to purchase your entrance ticket with entry at least 30 minutes before the start of the visit so you have time to leave your coat/backpack in the cloakroom before the start of the visit.
