Tour description

On this tour, we'll be journeying through Dublin's folk history of Christmas – from the Celts and Christians, all the way to the contemporary!

Beginning at the site of the very first Christmas ever celebrated in the city, we'll walk through the pomp and pageantry of medieval Dublin's yuletide, sites of blue-blooded celebration in Dublin Castle, before continuing through twinkly Temple Bar and finishing in the shiny, dazzling heart of modern Dublin's Christmas: Grafton Street.

This free festive walking tour is completely unique in Dublin, and only running until the big day – so come along, find out how the Dubs do Christmas, and discover Dublin's special Christmas customs and festive quirks!
