Tour description

This free tour is designed to show you the essentials of Copenhagen in about 3 hours , walking around the city at a leisurely pace and enjoying its history, architecture and daily life.

It's not an academic tour: it's an intimate experience, full of anecdotes, humor, and interesting facts that help you truly connect with the city. Nothing formal: we walk, chat, and enjoy ourselves.

During the tour we will visit:

Rådhuspladsen (or Town Hall Square).
Tivoli (One of the most famous and oldest amusement parks in the world).
Gammel Torv.
Medieval Copenhagen.
Gammel Strand
Christiansborg Palace (also known as Borgen)
The Church of Saint Nicholas.
Kongens Nytorv.
Nyhavn (or the Colorful Houses for us).
Amalienborg (the house of the King and his family).
Marmokirken (Marble Church)

And through these places we will learn about the history of Denmark and Copenhagen; the Vikings and their legacy; the Danish monarchy; the great fires that changed the city; Hans Christian Andersen, his phobias and his stories; cycling culture and Danish hygge; local secrets, details and customs; hidden legends, and royal recommendations for eating, visiting and enjoying.
