Tour description
Join me on an unforgettable tour through the most iconic corners of Alicante. With the guidance of a licensed local guide, you will discover all the curiosities of Alicante.
We will head to the Basilica of Santa Maria, a living witness to the history of Alicante over the centuries. From here we can observe one of the most important symbols of the city, the Santa Barbara Castle.
We will walk to Santa Faz Square. From here we will reach the Co-Cathedral of San Nicolás de Bari and Labradores Street. We will stroll along the famous Rambla de Méndez Núñez and learn about emblematic places and stories that have occurred in this area. For example, Portal de Elche and the Capuchin Convent, did you know it preserves the incorrupt body of a nun?
Finally, we will tour the very famous Explanada de Alicante. A meeting point for many locals and another symbol of the city. Besides learning about its history, we will also get to know buildings like the Carbonell House, the Sea Gate, and we will finish by talking about the Port of Alicante.
Of course, we will also talk about the traditions, festivals, and Alicante's gastronomy, something that also makes many tourists want to return to visit our beautiful city.
