Tour description
Would you like to discover Copenhagen through its most authentic aromas and flavors?
I invite you to a unique bakery tour where we will discover the sweet and artisanal heart of the city.
During this tour, we'll stroll through Ostebro, one of Copenhagen's most vibrant neighborhoods, visiting iconic bakeries and small temples of Nordic bread. We'll conclude the experience with delicious specialty coffee and artisanal chocolate, enjoying authentic Danish hygge!
We will talk about:
- Why the Danes are expert bakers.
- The importance of hygge in their gastronomy.
- The story of kanelsnegl and cardamom bun.
- The famous rugbrød, the basis of smørrebrød.
- The sourdough bread revolution in Copenhagen.
You can watch local bakers at work and, if you like, sample the best cinnamon rolls, artisan breads and Nordic pastries (tastings are optional and each person will pay for what they consume).
We will also explore the picturesque Olufsvej Street with its typical Danish architecture and the small Bopa Plads square with its most emblematic corners, ideal for taking photos! and to learn how Danes use public spaces to socialize and relax.
This tour is designed for food lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and those who enjoy exploring a city through its local flavors. No culinary experience is necessary!
