Did you know that the stones of Cusco hold secrets that can only be seen if you know where to look? Forget boring historical tours full of hard-to-remember dates. On this tour, the city becomes an open adventure book for you.
We will walk through the veins of the Inca capital to discover the hidden face of the city. From the walls to stories of underground tunnels and magical beings that, according to locals, still inhabit the old neighborhoods.
- Plaza Regocijo (Meeting point): We start at the "Plaza of Joy," where I will tell you why the Incas celebrated here and what treasures are hidden beneath the ground you walk on.
- Street Siete Culebras: A magical passage. The challenge for the little ones (and adults) will be to find the snakes carved into the colonial and Inca wall.
- The Stone of the 12 Angles: The great mystery of engineering. I will reveal the secret of how the Incas achieved perfect precision without using cement.
- San Blas Neighborhood (Lower part): We will visit the artisans' neighborhood to talk about the "Muquis" (workshop goblins) and the legend of the river mermaid.
- Loreto Street (Intik'ijllu): The most authentic passage in Cusco. Here we will discover the symbolism of the Amaru (the sacred serpent) and the secret doors of the ancient palaces.
- Esplanade of Qorikancha: We will end with a spectacular view, telling the legend of El Dorado and the golden gardens that the conquerors could not find.
