I define myself as an 'Audiovisual Baker'. I make art with the same patience and hands-on approach as I bake my daily bread. After living in Germany and traveling through the deep roots of Latin America (Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Brazil), I decided to settle in the islands of the Tigre Delta. I don't look for the typical tourist spots; I look for the 'marvelous' hidden in the mud and the river tides. My approach is visual and sensory. I am a filmmaker and a gatherer. I invite you to explore the Delta not as a tourist, but as a guest: walking the trails, hunting for unique mushrooms (Ganoderma), and sharing silence, art, and homemade bread at my studio. Come see the real life on the islands, away from the noise.

Tour description

Don't be a tourist, be an islander for a day.

Join a local filmmaker on his way home. We will take the public boat, walk through hidden trails, visit my art workshop, and relax by the river with mate and homemade bread. A silent, authentic experience. This is a "Pay-what-you-want" tour, but it is NOT a free ride. It is an immersive experience into the Deep Delta lifestyle, led by a local filmmaker and "Visual Baker." We will go where standard tours don't: my home and studio. The Zine: During the boat ride, you will receive a hand-made guide/fanzine written by me to understand the river's secrets.
The Fungi Hunt: We will search for "Artist Conk" mushrooms (Ganoderma) which I use for my art.
Private Access: We finish at my private workshop/home, not a public park.
The Journey (40 min): We ride the Public Boat (Lancha Colectiva) together. You'll experience the real commute of an islander.
The Island Walk: We hike through wild trails. I will share the stories of Silvio Gesell (the economist who bought this land for a utopia) and H.G. Oesterheld (author of The Eternaut, who found refuge here).
My Studio: We arrive at my house. We relax by the river, I show you my fungal art process, and we share homemade bread and Mate
Transport Cost: The tour booking is free, but you must pay for your Boat Ticket (Round trip approx. $6 USD / $6.000 ARS). Bring Cash or SUBE card.
Mud is part of the experience, but if there is a severe storm ("Sudestada"), I will contact you to cancel.

Boletería de la Estación Fluvial Tigre;
We meet at the Estación Fluvial de Tigre (Tigre River Station), inside the main hall near the ticket offices. I will be waiting for you holding a sign that says "GURU".
1
Entry not included
Delta del Paraná (Boat Ride)
We embark on a 40-minute boat ride along the Luján and Sarmiento rivers. This is not a private yacht; it’s the real public transport used by islanders. You will see the transition from the city to the "Deep Delta" architecture while reading the guide I prepared for you.
2
Outside visit
The "Utopian" Trails
Once on the island, we hike through wild public paths and lush vegetation. We will hunt for "Artist Conk" mushrooms for my workshop. Along the walk, we stop at historical spots to talk about Silvio Gesell (the economic utopia) and H.G. Oesterheld (The Eternaut), who lived and found inspiration in these swamps.
3
Outside visit
Private Art Studio & Pier
We arrive at my private home and workshop. We will relax on the pier overlooking the river, enjoy some homemade bread and Mate, and I will show you how I transform the collected fungi into art pieces. After relaxing, we walk back to the pier to catch the return boat.
