Who am I?
Your eyes on the French, an outsider who has been studying the inside. Originally from Poland, I moved to France over 4 years ago. Since then, I have been eating and exploring like someone paid me to do it (no one did). After making tours for my friends, I decided to share my passion and start touring strangers! I am not French which is great because I notice things about French they wouldn’t notice themselves. My credits? Many hours spent walking around, books read, croissants consumed, French confused.
I have a lot of love for this country and this city, come along and let it be shared!

Join me on the 1.5-2h escapade in the quartier of Republique & Canal St-Martin and explore the city in the most true way: by walking and eating. We will hop into a few acclaimed bakeries and walk around as I narrate you through the history of the area, French boulangerie culture and cultural nuances to navigate as you surround yourself with Parisians…
What to expect:
- Visit in 4-5 great bakeries
- Boulangerie 101: quick course on how to navigate French bakeries, do and don’ts, why you should never order a chocolate croissant, everything you need to know!
- French anecdotes: things French people do that would put you into coma
- History of the La Republique and Canal St. Martin districts and its today’s context
- History of the French bread & pastry culture
