Come and discover Mendoza beyond its typical center, through a totally different walking experience! ✨
Our meeting point will be Plaza Independencia, from where we will travel on Mendoza's iconic public transport: the Metrotranvía . This journey will take us to our first stop in Godoy Cruz, the Luis Menotti Pescarmona Green Space , an ideal place to enjoy the fresh air and learn about the history that laid the foundations for the department's founding.
Next, we'll visit the iconic Godoy Cruz City Council, an old building with unique architecture. Opposite it is the main square, Plaza Mayor Dr. Tomás Godoy Cruz , another key point on the tour.
The tour continues to the Basilica of San Vicente Ferrer , notable for its neo-Gothic architecture and its deep historical connection to the Godoy Cruz community. Next to it, we'll see the building that stood alongside it for many years: the former police station, now repurposed as the Museum of Culture and Memory .
Later we will venture into the streets of the department to reach the former metalworking shop, now converted into a cultural and gastronomic space: Planta Uno , where you can sit down and enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack (at the tourist's expense).
