Descubre la Ciudad de México taco a taco en este Free Taco Tour por el Centro Histórico de CDMX, diseñado para quienes quieren comer y entender los tacos como lo hacen los locales.
En este recorrido gastronómico caminaremos por el corazón histórico de la ciudad para visitar taquerías tradicionales donde se preparan algunos de los tacos más representativos de México.
Durante el recorrido tendrás la opción de probar distintos estilos regionales de tacos, como:
Carnitas estilo Michoacán, crujientes y llenas de sabor
Cochinita pibil, herencia de la cocina yucateca
Chorizo de Toluca, intenso y especiado
Tacos al pastor, uno de los grandes íconos de la CDMX
En cada parada hablaremos del origen del taco, su evolución histórica y cómo distintas regiones de México han aportado sabores, técnicas y tradiciones que hoy conviven en una sola ciudad.
Este no es solo un tour de comida: es una experiencia cultural en el Centro Histórico, donde entenderás por qué el taco es parte fundamental de la vida cotidiana mexicana.
Es un recorrido relajado, auténtico y pensado para viajeros curiosos que quieren conocer la CDMX a través de su gastronomía.

Soy Carlos y vivo en la Ciudad de México, una ciudad que nunca deja de moverse ni de sorprender. Me gusta recorrerla a pie, observar cómo conviven la historia, la arquitectura y la energía de millones de personas que la hacen tan vibrante.
Disfruto especialmente caminar por distintos barrios, notar los contrastes entre épocas y formas de vida, y descubrir esos pequeños detalles que pasan desapercibidos pero que revelan mucho sobre el carácter de la ciudad.
Soy curioso por naturaleza y me gusta compartir esa curiosidad con otros. Me interesa la ciudad como espacio vivo: sus calles, su ritmo, sus historias y la mezcla constante entre lo antiguo y lo contemporáneo.
Para mí, explorar la Ciudad de México es también una forma de entender mejor cómo viven las personas aquí y qué hace que este lugar sea tan único.

Glorious food, great stories, and a guide who explains everything, giving you the context and history behind every taco. It doesn’t feel like a tour, it feels like eating with friends: you meet people from all over the world and end up sharing tacos, laughs, and stories. Totally recommend it.

I’ve been eating tacos for years and figured there wasn’t much left to learn. Wrong. After walking through the Centro on this tour, I realized every dish has centuries of history behind it. Our guide explained it all nice and easy, like a buddy telling you a story over a beer. The food was unreal, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Best way to eat your way through Mexico City
We walked a lot, so wear comfy shoes, but every stop was worth it and the food was incredible. I'm still thinking about those tacos.
What I loved most were the stories behind each dish. I left understanding so much more about the culture and history behind what people eat here. I grew up thinking I knew what a taco was. I did not.
Our guide made the whole experience. He was patient, never rushed us, and explained everything so well that it felt like being shown around by a friend, not like a tour.
If you're in Mexico City, do this one. Come hungry!

Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, and had a real gift for making everyone feel at ease from the start.
The food stops were incredible, genuinely some of the best bites we've had in the city, and each location came with great stories and context that made everything click. Nothing felt rushed. There was always room to ask questions, chat with the group, and just soak it all in.
Highly recommend, and we'd jump at the chance to do another tour with this guide.
