I'm a civil engineer, working on construction projects, specifically the new metro system in the City of Light. I'm passionate about art and history. I love showing Paris to Italian tourists who come to the French capital. I look forward to seeing you there!

Tour description

We'll meet at the scheduled time and location to begin our free tour of Montmartre. Are you ready to follow in the footsteps of the great painters and artists who lived on this hill?

We'll discover the history of this unique neighborhood and hear many anecdotes about the area, once considered the hub of Parisian and world art. We'll begin with one of the neighborhood's icons, the Moulin Rouge, which we'll observe from the outside.
We will then reach the famous Moulin de la Galette, painted by Renoir in one of his paintings, and then walk through the historic streets of the neighborhood.
At this point, we will have reached the top of the hill, where we will be greeted by the silhouette of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which we will approach to admire it in all its splendor.
Finally, we'll move to the nearby Place du Tertre, a square where many artists paint and exhibit their works to the public. Here, we'll conclude our tour after two and a half hours spent discovering the beauties of Montmartre.
