Renaissance, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Signoria: Florence narrated by a local guide, with a quiz on the Renaissance
The tour lasts 2 hours
Available in English
Description
Discover Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, with a fascinating walking tour in the heart of its historic center, accompanied by a local guide who grew up with and is passionate about the history of Florence. It is the ideal experience to start getting to know the city, find your way around its streets, and immerse yourself in its history, art, and curiosities.
During the walk, you will explore some of Florence's iconic places, including the extraordinary Florence Cathedral, the imposing Piazza della Repubblica, the evocative Piazza della Signoria, the historic Ponte Vecchio, and the majestic Palazzo Vecchio. Along the way, you will hear stories and anecdotes about the great figures of the Renaissance, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and the influential Medici family.
The tour also includes a fun cultural quiz dedicated to Renaissance Florence: pay attention to the explanations, observe the details of the monuments, and test yourself along with the other participants.
The winner will receive a typical Florentine dinner, a perfect way to conclude the experience by also discovering the flavors of the local tradition (a necessary condition is that the tour group consists of at least 8 participants).
We look forward to seeing you!

Hi! I'm Stefano, a guide in Florence with a passion for history, art, and the stories that bring the city to life. For years, I've been leading travelers through the streets of the historic center, discovering not only the monuments, but especially the stories, curiosities, and hidden details that often go unnoticed at first glance. My goal isn't to give you a history lesson, but to help you experience Florence in a simple, engaging, and fun way. In my tours, I always strive to create an interactive experience: I'll ask you questions, ask you curiosities, and play little games to make the journey more dynamic and memorable. If you like boring, monotonous tours... I'm probably not the right guide for you. 😄 If, on the other hand, you want to discover Florence in an authentic, light-hearted way, with a touch of fun, I'd be happy to accompany you. See you in Florence!
