Tour description

This free tour offers a profound reflection on the darkest event in Chilean history. We will visit the Museum of Memory and Human Rights and explore the context, development, outcome, and consequences of Pinochet's dictatorship.

We will also address the geopolitical implications, foreign intervention, and the neoliberal economic experiment.

During the tour, we will also analyze the 2019 social uprising, one of the most significant events of the 21st century in Chile.
At the end of the tour, we will discuss the political transition and how Chile, in less than 30 years, went from a brutal dictatorship to becoming one of the world's most robust democracies.
