Welcome to beautiful Samarkand, one of the most important cities of the ancient Silk Road. During this free walking tour, we will explore the history, architecture, and daily life of this fascinating city.

Our journey starts at the famous Registan, the heart of Samarkand and one of the most impressive squares in Central Asia. I will tell you about the history of the Timurid Empire and the amazing madrassas that surround the square.

Then we will visit the magnificent Bibi-Khanym Mosque, one of the largest mosques built during Timur's reign. You will hear interesting stories and legends about the construction of this monument.

After that, we will walk through the lively Siab Bazaar where local people buy bread, spices, and fresh fruits. This is the best place to experience authentic local life.

During the tour, I will share historical facts, cultural traditions, and personal stories about growing up in Samarkand. This tour is ideal for travelers seeking to understand the city, its people, and its history.
