Tour of The Beatles in London: Abbey Road, Beatlemania, and the Rooftop Concert

This free musical and cultural tour through the center of London covers the key places that marked the history of the Beatles in the city. Throughout the tour, we follow a story that mixes Beatlemania, recording studios, private life, and decisive moments that helped turn four musicians from Liverpool into a global phenomenon.

For about 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will visit some of the most important Beatles landmarks in London:

  • 3 Savile Row: site of the last rooftop concert.
  • Rupert Court: connections to their early years in London.
  • Trident Studios: key recordings outside of Abbey Road.
  • London Palladium: a turning point in Beatlemania.
  • 57 Wimpole Street: Paul McCartney's personal history and the origin of songs like I Want to Hold Your Hand and Yesterday.
  • 34 Montagu Square: John Lennon's residence and a place rich in musical history.
  • 94 Baker Street: the Apple Boutique, the group's psychedelic phase, and the birth of Apple Corps.
  • Abbey Road Studios: the band's most iconic studio.
  • Abbey Road Crossing: the most famous crosswalk in the world.

The tour combines history, music, and cultural context, with anecdotes and visual support (tablet with photos and period material) to enrich the experience.

Important: We will make a short transfer by metro (one stop) between Baker Street and St John's Wood, so it is necessary to have a valid contactless card. Journey price: £3.10.

If you are passionate about music and discovering London from a different perspective, this tour is for you. See you there!

Guiding since 2026
My name is Octavio, and I've lived in London for over 10 years. In that time, I've come to know the city not just as a visitor, but as someone who lives it every day and continues to enjoy its neighborhoods, its history, and its music. I'm passionate about the Beatles and London, and on my tours, I like to combine the two: telling the story of the city through one of the most fascinating musical histories of the 20th century. Besides music and London, I love to travel. On my most recent trips, I've visited China, Armenia, and Uzbekistan, experiences that have helped me better understand what travelers look for when booking a tour: clarity, a personal touch, a good pace, and the feeling of discovering a place with someone who truly knows it. That's why I try to ensure that each person not only sees iconic landmarks but also understands their context and leaves with a memorable experience. If you're interested in the history of the Beatles, the less obvious London, and the stories that bring a city to life, I'd be delighted to show you around.
