Tour of The Beatles in London: Abbey Road, Beatlemania, and the Rooftop Concert
This free musical and cultural tour through the center of London covers the key places that marked the history of the Beatles in the city. Throughout the tour, we follow a story that mixes Beatlemania, recording studios, private life, and decisive moments that helped turn four musicians from Liverpool into a global phenomenon.
For about 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will visit some of the most important Beatles landmarks in London:
- 3 Savile Row: site of the last rooftop concert.
- Rupert Court: connections to their early years in London.
- Trident Studios: key recordings outside of Abbey Road.
- London Palladium: a turning point in Beatlemania.
- 57 Wimpole Street: Paul McCartney's personal history and the origin of songs like I Want to Hold Your Hand and Yesterday.
- 34 Montagu Square: John Lennon's residence and a place rich in musical history.
- 94 Baker Street: the Apple Boutique, the group's psychedelic phase, and the birth of Apple Corps.
- Abbey Road Studios: the band's most iconic studio.
- Abbey Road Crossing: the most famous crosswalk in the world.
The tour combines history, music, and cultural context, with anecdotes and visual support (tablet with photos and period material) to enrich the experience.
Important: We will make a short transfer by metro (one stop) between Baker Street and St John's Wood, so it is necessary to have a valid contactless card. Journey price: £3.10.
