Throughout the tour we will not only talk about monuments, but also about stories and their protagonists, beliefs and traditions that gave meaning and identity to these corners, building a closer and more fantastic story of the walled city.

Itinerary
The imposing walls of Ávila not only protected the city for centuries… they also hold stories that have survived the passage of time. To uncover them, we will meet at the appointed time in the heart of the city.
We'll begin our tour by venturing into Calle de la Cruz Vieja , popularly known as the Street of Life and Death. There, we'll discover one of Ávila's most famous legends before heading towards the portico of the Cathedral of El Salvador . Its walls conceal enigmatic figures and symbols that few manage to decipher…
We will continue walking through the narrow streets of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, until we reach the Basilica of San Vicente . This impressive Romanesque church stands out not only for its beauty but also for the legendary history surrounding its origins.
During the tour, we'll stop at iconic locations such as the Town Hall Square and the Puerta del Rastro , the setting for a timeless love story. Nearby, in front of Teresa of Ávila's birthplace , we'll uncover some of the lesser-known secrets of this universal figure.
After approximately two hours filled with stories, milestones and curiosities, we will end this free tour through the old town, with the feeling of having traveled through the most legendary time of Ávila.
