2000 years of history, tour of the City of London!

In this tour, we will walk through the heart of the City of London, following a route that will take us from the iconic Tower Bridge to the impressive St Paul’s Cathedral.

We will start by the Thames, where we will discover why the Romans chose this area to found Londinium and how the river was fundamental for London to become one of the most important cities in Europe.

We will continue to The Monument, where we will learn about the history of the Great Fire of London in 1666, one of the great tragedies that forever transformed the city.

Then we will delve into the City to discover Leadenhall Market, one of the most beautiful historic markets in London, and learn how trade turned this small area of the city into a true center of power.

Our route will continue through the Bank of England and Royal Exchange, where we will understand how London went from being an important trading port to becoming one of the financial capitals of the world.

Finally, we will arrive at St Paul’s Cathedral, a masterpiece by Christopher Wren and one of the great symbols of London. There we will end our journey through more than 2,000 years of history, from Roman London to the modern City of skyscrapers.
