From Industrial Empire to Film, Art & Culture – Free Tour of Łódź

I am a resident of Łódź and I show the city from the perspective of someone who knows it from the inside. Łódź is a city of contrasts — raw, beautiful and full of history, but also of new ideas and plans for the future, where former factories blend with modern culture, and its industrial past is still present in the urban landscape. During the walk, I don’t only show the main landmarks, but also the everyday life of the city, its cultural and artistic scene, as well as places that are easy to miss but that truly define the character of Łódź — a truly unique city in Poland. Jestem mieszkańcem Łodzi i pokazuję miasto z perspektywy osoby, która zna je od środka. Łódź to miasto kontrastów; surowe, piękne i pełne historii, ale także nowych pomysłów i planów na przyszłość, gdzie dawne fabryki przeplatają się z nowoczesną kulturą, a jej przemysłowa przeszłość wciąż jest obecna w miejskim krajobrazie. Podczas spaceru pokazuję nie tylko najważniejsze zabytki, ale także codzienne życie miasta, jego scenę kulturalną i artystyczną oraz miejsca, które łatwo przeoczyć, a które najlepiej oddają charakter Łodzi, która jest wyjątkowym miastem na mapie Polski.
