The Golden Age of Cádiz. When Cádiz was the center of the world.

Cádiz was the center of the world in the 18th century. This is because during this time the city was Spain's main port, even holding a monopoly on trade with America. This splendor resulted in a rich cultural and architectural legacy. On this route, you can stroll through the magnificent Cádiz of the golden century, discovering its 18th-century layout, the houses of the "Cargadores a Indias" (merchants trading with the Indies), or the walls that made it the best-protected city in Europe.
Our meeting point will be the Cádiz Conference Center, and from there we will proceed to the port gates to begin our tour.

The tour lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes
