Description
La Seu, a unique monument due to its location and history, situated next to the Almudaina Palace and directly facing the Mediterranean Sea. Let yourself be impressed by the beauty of the Palma Cathedral on this Free Tour where we will discover all its secrets and the stories held within its walls.
We will start the tour with an exterior visit of the second largest Cathedral in Spain.
After purchasing the tickets (€11), we will enter the beautiful Gothic temple, where we will admire the beautiful rose windows, including the "Eye of the Gothic," the largest rose window in a Gothic temple, the side chapels, and the various works that have been done throughout its history.
We will explain the renovations carried out by the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, as well as the latest work by the Mallorcan artist Miquel Barceló.
We will conclude the visit at the museum, where we can find the relics of the Patron Saint of Palma, Saint Sebastian.
After an hour and a half of visiting, we will conclude the tour; although if you wish, you can stay inside for as long as you like.
