Unlike a typical Empire State Building visit, this experience lets you discover the city before seeing it from above. Beginning in the historic Flatiron District, you’ll explore Midtown Manhattan with an expert guide as New York’s history, architecture, and hidden stories unfold around you. From iconic Fifth Avenue landmarks and Madison Square Park to the vibrant energy of Koreatown and Herald Square, every stop adds new perspective to the skyline surrounding you.
The experience culminates with reserved access to the Empire State Building Observatory, where sweeping 360-degree views across New York City bring the entire journey together from one of the world’s most iconic viewpoints.
Instructions
• It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated. Missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.
• Your guide will be carrying a City Wonders flag at the meeting point for easy recognition.
• This tour involves a fair amount of walking; comfortable shoes are recommended.
• Gratuities for your guide that provided excellent service are appreciated.
• Most venues/attractions in NYC have airport-like security and item restrictions apply.
• We do not recommend bringing bags bigger than a bag pack. City Wonders is not responsible for dismissal of items or refused entry due to illicit items.
• Visitors with strollers are welcome to visit the Empire State Building. However, they must be able to fold up the strollers in the observatory areas.
• Empire State does not permit outside food or beverages. Weapons of any kind are also prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: glass bottles, lighters, flammable substances, and knives of any kind, including pen knives, pocket knives, Swiss army knives, and switchblades. Tripods are also not permitted.
• New York city tourist sites are among the most popular in the world, but please be aware that some locations may be unavoidably busy during standard hours.
