If you find yourself in Barcelona and wish to escape to the scenic beauty of the Costa Brava, consider joining this remarkable excursion to Girona, Figueras, and Cadaqués, three essential destinations in Catalonia!
Details of the Day Trip
We will gather at Plaça d'Anna Lizaran in Barcelona, where our journey to Girona, Figueres, and Cadaqués will commence. Excited? Let's begin!
Our first destination is Girona, renowned for its stunning historical district. You will have 1.5 hours to leisurely explore this remarkable old town. Be sure not to overlook the famed Jewish quarter, one of Europe's best-preserved sites.
Next, we'll reconvene and travel to Figueres, a key transport link between Spain and France. Here, you'll have approximately 1.5 hours to delve into the local cuisine of the Alt Empordà region or simply stroll around at your own rhythm.
Our journey will then lead us to Cadaqués, one of the most picturesque villages on the Costa Brava. With its charming white houses, serene sea, and majestic mountains, this quaint fishing village is undeniably captivating. Upon arrival, we will meander through its narrow streets and ascend to the Church of Santa Maria.
After approximately 11 hours of exploration, we will return to our original meeting point in Barcelona to conclude our day.
Dalí Museum Admission
During the booking process, you may choose to include a day trip with entry to the Dalí Museum. If selected, you'll have the opportunity to visit the museum situated atop the city's old theatre, which holds the largest collection of Salvador Dalí's works.
The museum visit typically spans 45 to 60 minutes. Your guide will accompany you, providing a 15 to 20-minute guided tour before granting you additional time to discover the exhibits independently and perhaps enjoy some local delicacies.
After your museum visit, we will regroup with the rest of the participants to continue our adventure.
Please keep in mind that the Dalí Museum is closed on Mondays.
The meeting point may vary. Always check the tickets we sent you to confirm the final details before the activity.
