Join us for a day trip to Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle, which includes a panoramic bus tour of London's landmarks, including Big Ben and Trafalgar Square.
Day Trip Details
The adventure begins at Bulleid Way, Victoria in London, where we will board a bus for a sightseeing bus tour of London, showcasing iconic landmarks.
We will pass through Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square, observing Big Ben and the atmosphere of Piccadilly. The tour will also cover Hyde Park Corner and Kensington, offering insights into London's history from the bus.
Next, we will visit Hampton Court Palace, arriving to a welcome and an overview from a host. Participants will have 2 hours for individual exploration of this historical site, which served as a retreat for Henry VIII.
Explore the State Rooms, Tudor Kitchens, and stroll through the gardens, including the world’s oldest surviving maze.
Afterwards, we will head to Windsor Castle, the Royal Family’s weekend residence and the oldest occupied castle globally. You can pay respects at Henry VIII's tomb and view the State Apartments and St George's Chapel, known for hosting Harry and Meghan’s wedding. Additionally, see Queen Mary's Dolls' House and rare artworks by notable masters.
The Windsor Castle visit lasts 3.5 hours. If you opt out of castle entrance, you may explore the area or dine. The tour concludes after 7 hours back in London at Gloucester Road Underground Station.
