The National Gallery: Official Highlights Tour

Discover the stories and history of the National Gallery's collection during this tour led by a National Gallery-approved Blue Badge guide. These official guided tours are available during the day and last approximately one hour with an opportunity to enjoy the collection in your own time before or after the tour.

* No bulky luggage allowed * Late comers may not be permitted * Late comers may not be permitted * Tours will last for around 60 minutes * Head through the Getty entrance (groups entrance) and go through the security barriers * You will then head inside Annenberg Court and the tour will depart close to the information desk on the right-hand side * Do not head into the main entrance of the gallery, this is for public and not booked tours * From 10th May 2025, tours will begin at the Sainsbury Wing, the National Gallery’s new main entrance located on Trafalgar Square (WC2N 5DN) * Customers should make their way up the stairs to Level 2 * Tours will start across from the audio desk, and meet your guide by a Meeting Point tour sign * The guide will be wearing a National Gallery Official Tour Guide yellow badge Please arrive for your tour 15 minutes before departure.
