From Valencia: Cueva de Sant Josep + Entrance Included + Coordinator

The Coves de Sant Josep underground river, located in the area of the same name, is a natural cave located in the municipality of La Vall d'Uixó, in the province of Castellón, Spain.

The cavity was formed in the Middle Triassic period and is mostly composed of limestone. The origin of the river and the end of the cave are unknown.

It is the longest cave in the province of Castellón, and the second longest in the Valencian Community. What's more, thanks to its water source, it's the longest navigable underground river in Europe.

Know before you go

• Our bilingual tour guide will accompany you throughout the excursion. However, inside the cave, explanations will be provided by the boat driver himself, and at times will only be available in Spanish. After the visit, our tour guide will be happy to answer any questions in English if needed.

• The temperature inside the caves is 20°C all year round, which is very pleasant.
