Explore Florence’s Duomo Complex on a small-group guided tour with a local expert. Use fast-track entry to learn about the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its role in Florence’s history. Afternoon tours include cathedral entry, while morning tours focus on the exterior.
Visit the Opera del Duomo Museum to see the original Baptistery doors, Donatello’s sculptures, and Michelangelo’s Pietà Bandini. Then enter St. John’s Baptistery to view its golden mosaics ceiling and the Gates of Paradise.
Walk through Florence’s historic center, passing Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery (exterior), with commentary on the Medici family and Renaissance artists. The tour ends at Ponte Vecchio.
You can upgrade your visit with a self-guided climb of Giotto’s Bell Tower.
