Very good tour and very informative

He was very attentive to my aunt, who is in her late 70s and has bad knees. He made sure to slow down and wait for her to catch up to the group. He told us, with much expression of a story teller, the history of Avignon, from its first founding by a Celtic family (Cavarese) through the Roman time, the Papal era (which wove in some Jewish history), etc . . . It was very interesting. He gave suggestions on good restaurants for different types of cuisine. We went on a day when the strong mistral wind blew with gusts around 60km/h and the temperature was in the low 10s Celsius so it was challenging, but everyone in our group of 5 was curious to discover the city with Jerome, an animated story teller. It was also interesting to find that we had 2 individuals in the group, one from Southeast Asia and one from Romania, and both knew the French children's song about the bridge of Avignon. That demonstrates the historical widespread influence of the French on other cultures.

Jérôme was very informative, engaging, pleasant and spoke English very well. I would highly recommend a tour of Avignon with Jérôme!
