Tour was a great introduction to Gdańsk. The guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend it!

Liked how he controlled time (group of 15!) And was not too long at the same spot, so we walked around and had good amount of information

Our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history and culture of Gdansk. It was infectious. We covered a lot of ground in 2 hours and I would thoroughly recommend attending at the start of a trip to Gdansk as it sets you up for the rest of your visit.

Philipp ist ein sympathischer junger Mann mit umfassendem historischen Wissen und einer großen Liebe zu seiner Heimatstadt Gdansk. Beste Voraussetzungen für eine super Tour! Ein bisschen mehr Bezug zwischen den historischen Ereignissen in Gdansk, die er zurecht als weltverändernd bezeichnet, wäre schön gewesen. Polen wurde aberkannt, ein eigenständiger Staat zu sein - Russland sagt heute, die Ukraine ist kein Staat, sondern Teil Russlands. Schon vor Kriegsbeginn bestimmte der Faschismus das gesellschaftliche Leben in Gdansk, heute können wir in folgende Länder blicken: ... Geschichte lehrt uns viel über unsere Herkunft, aber auch über die Gegenwart. Dieser Bezug hat mir gefehlt. Das Wetter war außerdem fürchterlich, aber da kann Philipp nichts dagegen tun. Außer dem Wetter angepasst nach Unterständen zu suchen.

Nice guide, very passionate

Covered a broad spectrum and had all the answers to our questions, including a few curve balls! Really helped me to get a feel for Gdansk where I’m sadly only staying for 36 hours! Despite the severe weather (which I suspect is why we had a small elite group!), the tour was excellent. At various stages our guide, Filip, would ask us questions which I feel helped to keep the group really engaged. At the end Filip shared recommendations for restaurants when asked, and throughout the tour made recommendations for museums and monuments to visit and explore. Everyone who started the tour made it to the end, even in the snowstorm, which says a lot!

A great experience in such a nice city. Gdansk is the perfect city for a walking tour, the 2.5h long walk didn't feel tiring at all even under the cold of -2, snow and windy. The guide was very professional and knowledgeable.
