Tour started with a 10-15min tuk tuk ride to the old market. Then we explored the old market for about 45 min, which was pretty cool - we definitely went down side streets we wouldn’t have gone down alone. Then we took a tuk tuk close to where we started, and visited a marble inlay store, which included a demonstration of the craftsmanship. There was no pressure from Amir to buy anything. Overall interesting but would have liked a longer tour of old market (total duration including tuk tuk rides was 90 min) and a bit more historical context.
Very disappointing, I have booked this tour a couple of months in advance and had our dates organised around it. First of all the meeting point attached to the guru walk app takes you to some back alley, then we realised that it was actually in front of the Radisson Blu, when we got there, there was no sign of Amir and we just got hassled by tuk tuk drivers claiming to know Amir and trying to offer different tours, rides, etc. One of them even called "Amir" who asked to talk to us and advised he never got the booking when I clearly had it on my phone, overall not a good experience and won't recommend it.
Reservamos este tour para el 17/07/24, llegábamos en tren nocturno de Varanasi a Agra y a las 10.00 teníamos el tour. Cogimos un tuk-tuk hasta el punto de encuentro. Llevábamos 10 minutos esperando cuando decidimos escribir al guía para ver dónde estaba y nos dijo que no se iba a poder hacer el tour porque el mercado no era posible transitarlo debido a una fiesta que se celebraba ese día. Aún así decidimos reservar el tour para el día siguiente ya que teníamos muchas ganas de conocer Agra. La historia que te cuenta de Agra es muy pobre y solo te lleva por los mercados sin muchas explicaciones. Al finalizar el tour te lleva a una tienda donde te sientes presionado a comprar en la que probablemente se lleve comisión. Tour poco recomendable.
Fue muy bien Nos recogió e hicimos el tour solos loa dos con el y nos llevó en tuk tuk a todas partes. Se agradece por la calor pero como información un poco escueta. Genial el. Pasar por el. Mercado y ver sus costumbres
