Ciaran was the kind of tour guide that will turn any historical information interesting without boring you. He was engaging, funny, and knowledgeable. We learned so much history from him during our 2.5-hour walking tour. You will see the highlights of the city, but I do wish we could have seen a bit more secret spots during the tour. Nonetheless, it was the perfect introduction for anyone new to or revisiting Dublin.

Given this was our second time in Seoul, we wanted to join a walking tour that we could truly learn how living in Seoul is like and have an in-depth appreciation for the neighborhood of Gangnam. Mark was great at managing a group of tourists, and balancing the history and culture with his own experience. He was patient at sharing his live location so we could find him as we arrived late to his tour. If you are looking for a fun and entertaining walking tour, this is the one!

What a great way to spend 2 hours on the Miyajima island, learning about the history, interesting facts, getting great photos of the Otorii gate, and discovering hidden secrets of Daishoin. As a foreigner, I appreciate learning the Japanese culture through Leo’s passionate lenses, and he spoke excellent English. Yes, it is totally doable to take the ferry and visit the island on your own, but you will miss out on all the interesting Japanese traditions of the shrine, recommended food spots, and hidden spots on the island. Leo also takes great photos, so book this tour and maximize your time in Hiroshima. Pro tip, I booked the 9-11am tour to beat the crowds and also to see both the high tide (10:30am) and low tide (after 12pm) views of the Otorii gate.

This was such a unique way to sample the speciality of Hiroshima. Having tasted the version from Osaka, I now prefer the Hiroshima version more. Thomas was very knowledgeable and shared other significant historical events as well, shifting our conversation from food, culture to history. It was a perfect introduction to Hiroshima. Don’t miss out on this food tour!

Thank you very much for your kind words, Cindy. It really means a lot. Your okonomiyaki flipping skills were impressive. I am so glad to hear you now prefer the Hiroshima style! I also loved hearing about your travels to over 100 countries. That was truly inspiring. Wishing you many more amazing adventures ahead

What an insightful way to learn what it means to be Sowetan! We took this tour with Mxolisi after touring SA for 2 weeks and visited other major sights (Cape Town; Joburg CBD; Pretoria; Durban; Drakensberg; Clarens) and glad we got to have an immersive journey into SA’s complex history and its vibrant present. This bike tour offered a glimpse into a community that was the heart of the anti-apartheid struggle and is now a thriving urban center. We encountered warm and welcoming locals as we cycled through the township, and my boyfriend and I felt very safe the entire time. We also got to chat with locals from different parts of Soweto over a beer or two. The bike tour also covered important landmarks as well as the outside of Mandela House museum. Modest cycling experience is required. Mxolisi was great at managing the traffic to ensure we are always safe on the road. He was also very knowledgeable, open minded, and friendly, which made the tour itself felt like you are cycling through his neighborhood with a friend.
