I cannot speak highly enough about our walking tour with Alex! We got to see so much of the town and learn lots about the history. We visited a market, and he took us to try local foods, fruits, and juices! We felt like we really got to experience local life in Santa Ana. At the end, we visited a coffee shop where Alex answered our many questions and told us all about life in his country– which was our favorite part. Highly recommend!
Honestly the best walking tour ever. Alex went WAY above & beyond with his tour! It was a 10/10 experience with so much information, local tips, and local experiences! His knowledge on history & on culture was astonishing and his English skills are perfect.
Hector/Alexander didn't turn up for the morning tour, but luckily Fatima was doing her tour so we joined that group.
There ended up being 8 of us waiting for hector / Alexander to show up. Booked with hector, reminder email before changed it to Alexander. We were there from 14:55 for the 3pm meeting time and at 3:45pm he still had not showed up. Didn’t respond to messages either. we went and joined the wonderful Louis with Curly Tours at 4pm - he was bang on time so a much more reliable and recommended option. My friend did hectors morning tour and he was with them drinking beers at 2:30pm still. Apparently he told them no one really shows up the afternoon so he just won’t go! I had booked so I think he could have at least sent a cancellation message. If you really want hector be sure to find a number of you to actually book the tour so that he actually turns up! Or just go with Curly Tours as your more reliable option. He starts at 4pm which is a better time slot as cooler. Don’t plan anything after as you’ll end up chatting for hours about El Salvador
