Hallo zusammen! Mein Name ist John und ich habe an vielen verschiedenen Orten auf der Welt gelebt, darunter New York City, Miami, Austin, Toronto, Neuseeland, London, Lissabon und jetzt bin ich hier, im wunderschönen Valencia. Ich bin seit über sechs Jahren hier und das liegt daran, dass die Stadt natürlich großartig ist, aber auch die Menschen wunderbar sind! Aber das war nicht immer so. Dieser Ort hat seit seiner Gründung als Siedlung vor über 3.000 Jahren eine unglaubliche und manchmal blutige Geschichte erlebt. Er hat mehr als einmal den Besitzer gewechselt! Ich liebe Geschichte und habe die Geschichte Valencias seit meiner Ankunft studiert. John was an absolutely outstanding guide and truly the perfect person to discover Valencia with. He has deep, in-depth knowledge of the city, its architecture, and its history, but what really sets him apart is how he delivers it. He is funny and an excellent storyteller, so even if you’re not usually interested in history, you’ll be completely engaged. We were very interested, and John went the extra mile by extending the tour and taking extra time to dive deeper into the topics we cared about. He had thoughtful answers to all of our questions and never made anything feel rushed. On top of that, he gave us great recommendations on where to eat and which museums and churches are truly worth visiting. Highly recommended, this tour exceeded all our expectations thanks to John.
One of the best, if not the best, tour I've had on GuruWalk! John was a fantastic guide. He was clearly very passionate about Valencia and had a deep knowledge of the history of the city. He managed to bring the history and important information to life with his dynamic storytelling and good humour. John also keeps his tour groups small (less than six) for a better experience which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour to others. Note: John only accepts cash tips so be prepared to pay with cash at the end.

John was the most informative tour guide I experienced in Valencia. He speaks with great enthusiasm and has a truly heartfelt way of talking about Valencian history, it is fascinating and inspiring.
