Hallo! Mein Name ist John und ich habe an verschiedenen Orten auf der ganzen Welt gelebt, darunter New York City, Miami, Austin, Toronto, Neuseeland, London, Portugal und jetzt bin ich hier, im wunderschönen Valencia. Ich bin jetzt seit über fünf Jahren hier und das liegt daran, dass die Stadt natürlich wunderschön ist, aber auch die Menschen sind wunderbar! Aber das war nicht immer so. Dieser Ort hat seit seiner Gründung als Siedlung vor über 3.000 Jahren eine unglaubliche und manchmal blutige Geschichte erlebt. Er hat mehr als einmal den Besitzer gewechselt! Ich liebe Geschichte und habe die Geschichte von Valencia studiert, seit ich hier angekommen bin. Ich möchte Ihnen einige meiner Lieblingsorte und einige seiner Geheimnisse zeigen und Ihnen auch zeigen, wo Sie das beste Essen, die besten Strände und die besten Märkte finden! Prost! Salud!
This walking tour was a perfect introduction to València. The deliberately small group size made for a much more manageable experience over a larger one. John gave a very useful historical overview of València while guiding us around the key sights of the Old Town. Along the way he also gave us lots of helpful tips for us to utilise during our visit to the city. His style was very engaging while he conveyed a considerable amount of information.
John was brilliant!! Cannot recommend his tour enough. You can feel his passion for Valencia and its history - super knowledgeable, but not at all pretentious about it. Took us to lots of brilliant spots and had very helpful recommendations.
