Great Tour! First Hand informations from someone who’s part of colonial history. Everytime we looked up the hills of Medellin after this tour we saw them with different eyes.
We loved our walking tour with Sebastian!! He was hilarious, kind and warm. The insights he gave of the Communa and its community, history and experiences were amazing. We appreciated that this isn’t a ‘insta tour’ of the Communa (we saw other people going to the touristy photo spots, many of which were built by foreign business people as opposed to art from people from Communa 13) - Sebastian took us on a more quiet route where we saw amazing views, rode the famous escalators (so cool!), saw brilliant street art, breakdancing, and heard stories about the art and people. Sebastian also gave us broader recommendations for where to have lunch (which we took up and had an awesome, affordable local lunch from the friendliest staff), and other things to do in Colombia. We can see how passionate Sebastian is about his home, and understandably, as it is a very special place full of amazing artists and people. We highly recommend this tour!
